Hi, we're the Zents! I'm Jennifer, wife to Kevin, mother to Charlize (and bonus mom to 4).

 

I enjoy reading, writing, baking, visiting coffee shops, libraries, theme parks, and jumping out of planes. I also love to talk about theology, politics, religion, and the ways God is working in the world. I'm passionate about the truth and doing what's right. The world is a broken place and I am often burdened by the injustice, cruelty, and wickedness I see everywhere. Sin is real and it's ugly, but it has a cure - one cure - Jesus Christ. This battle is won, but wickedness is fighting while the Lord is long-suffering and we as Christians ought to fight back. We have the weapon to conquer sin - let's use it. In the midst of lies and deceit, counter it with truth and sincerity, in response to hate, show love, where there's chaos, bring order, when others are being rash, be self-controlled.

 

The Christian walk is not an easy one, and my husband and I are increasingly aware of how much we depend on the Lord to help us through it. Still, we are called to be salt and light, to encourage, to edify, and to lift one another up. I hope we're able to do some of that here for you. As you get to know me and my family, we pray the Lord will use us to manifest His glory, spread His gospel, and demonstrate His sovereignty.
